Mobile Home Leveling in Silver Springs Shores

Releveling in Silver Springs Shores costs $450 to $800 for a singlewide and $750 to $1,400 for a doublewide, free level check first, no travel charge. The Shores is fifteen minutes from the Ocala hub down Maricamp Road, and it is one of the densest pockets of manufactured housing in Marion County.

The Shores is a patchwork, and the survey has to treat it that way

Silver Springs Shores was platted as a very large residential subdivision southeast of Ocala and filled in slowly over decades. That history matters underneath the home. Rather than one park set by one crew in one year, this is thousands of individual lots where homes arrived across a forty-year span, set by whoever the owner hired at the time, to whatever the standard was that year.

So there is no house style here and no standard failure. On the same street we will find a 2015 doublewide on properly sized poured pads next to a 1984 singlewide sitting on stacked block with no cap and a pad the size of a dinner plate. The only way to price this work honestly is to read every pier rather than assume a pattern, which is what the free level check is for.

What is consistent is the ground. Fast-draining Marion County sand under a concentrated point load, which settles gradually and unevenly, and rainwater that will happily run along a pier line if the lot grades that way.

What homes in the Shores usually need

  • Releveling on homes ten to thirty years past their last visit. A full water-level survey of every pier, hydraulic jacking on cribbing, and new hardwood shims driven tight at every low point.
  • Pier and pad repair, quoted per pier: $75 to $150 to reset and reshim during a relevel, $150 to $400 to rebuild with new blocks, cap and pad.
  • Vapor barrier replacement and under-home moisture work, which the Shores generates more of than the drier north end of the county, largely because of how these lots drain.
  • Pre-sale leveling inspections. Shores homes trade often, and buyers, lenders and insurers all want the level and anchor check in writing.

Before you call, price it yourself

The calculator takes six answers you can give from your living room and returns the same range we would give on the phone, built from the published price tables rather than from a lead form. There is no email gate on it.

We also cover Ocklawaha, Belleview and Silver Springs on this side of Ocala.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can you get to the Shores?

Faster than almost anywhere we work. Silver Springs Shores is fifteen minutes southeast of downtown Ocala on Maricamp Road, so it is a same-week level check most weeks rather than a grouped run.

My home is on its own lot, not in a park. Is that different?

The pricing is identical. What changes is the condition under the home. Homes on private Shores lots were set at different times by different installers to different standards, so every pier gets surveyed rather than assuming a layout. Park homes tend to have been set as a batch and fail as a batch.

There is standing water under my home after a storm. What is that?

It is the thing to call about first, ahead of the leveling. Water sitting under a home is either grading, a plumbing leak, or a downspout emptying against the skirting, and all three keep working on your pads after we leave. The free survey should identify the source and tell you what it is, whether or not it is a leveling fix.

Can you fix just the skirting?

We can, and sometimes that is genuinely all it needs. But skirting that has pulled loose or buckled is usually reporting on the home above it. We will check the frame while we are there and tell you plainly if the skirting is the whole story, because reattaching panels to a home that is still moving means doing it twice.
